(WENN) - Axl Rose suffered his second stage fall in less than a month on Saturday after crashing to the floor during a Guns 'N Roses gig in France.

The frontman was forced to seek medical treatment backstage at a show in Liverpool, England on May 20 after he tripped on equipment and fell backwards.

The band has played a string of concerts since the accident, and took to the stage at the Hellfest festival in Clisson, France on Saturday - but clumsy Rose failed to make it through the set without incident.

During the group's rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine," the rocker climbed onto a raised platform, but lost his footing and fell face-forward onto the stage.
