From 11 minute sketches on Adult Swim, this is Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s first feature film. It's best described as alternative humor. Maybe hipster comedy. It's like the death metal of comedy: for most it's hard to comprehend, grating and outrageous. Heidecker and Wareheim probably take pride when people don’t get it. This movie is definitely not for everyone. Think cult comedy.

The story: Tim and Eric squander a billion dollars they were paid to make a feature film. What they end up with is a 3 minute love story starring a fake Johnny Depp. Needless to say, the producers, helmed by Robert Loggia are out for blood. Literally. Tim & Eric fall for a scheme to pay them back.

The cast is impressive: a who's who of comedy including Jeff Goldbum, John C. Reilly, Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell. Such funny men. And I didn't laugh once. Not once. I couldn't wait for this movie to end. I just don’t have the Tim & Eric gene.
