Seahawks to give Owens a tryout
The Seattle Seahawks will have free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens in for a workout on Monday, according to a report by KJR-AM in Seattle.
Owens didn't play a year ago after undergoing ACL surgery on his left knee. He had 35 catches for 420 yards and 10 touchdowns while playing eight games for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, but was released and lost an ownership stake in the team in May.
The 38-year-old hasn't played in the NFL since the 2010 season, when he caught 72 balls for 983 yards and nine touchdowns for the Cincinnati Bengals.
