UPDATE: Just hours after releasing the track, No Doubt put out the full-length video for "Settle Down." Watch the video:
Last week, No Doubt released a behind-the-scenes sneak preview for the upcoming music video. The band teamed up with Sophie Muller, director of such classic No Doubt videos as "Underneath it All" and "Don’t Speak." With her familiar touch, it's hard to tell by watching the preview that any time has passed for Gwen and the gang as they all get in their personalized tractor-trailers from four different locations and meet in the middle for a big party.
Fans will be happy to find that "Settle Down" is reminiscent of the old days. Drummer Adrian Young says the band went back to their Jamaican dance hall groove for this song, adding, "We’ve always loved that type of music and it just feels so natural to play." Check out the behind-the-scenes footage:
No Doubt will perform at the iHeartRadio Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas this September.
