Justin Bieber almost singlehandedly ensured fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen's stardom when he tweeted about her song the catchiest song of all time, "Call Me Maybe," and even recruited his famous friends to make a video to it. Carly has since proven that she's no one hit wonder with a successful follow up in "Good Time" with Owl City.
So now that Carly is successfully on her way, Justin can move on to promoting more aspiring artists, in this case, 13-year-old Madison Beer. The teenager was virtually unknown until The Biebs waved his magic (twitter) wand Wednesday, and now she's gaining followers by the thousands and has probably signed a record deal in the time this took to write. Okay, maybe that last part is a stretch, but it's probably not far off.
